From Survival to Strength
Hi, I’m Cindy Spencer, CEO and co-founder of Kut Fitness. For nearly 20 years, I worked in property management — a job that paid the bills but never fueled my passion.
Three years ago, as my husband, Shane, and I became empty nesters, my health took a sharp turn. I was overweight, battling Lupus, living with constant pain, and struggling with depression. Things got worse — a torn rotator cuff, then a brain aneurysm that nearly took my life. Doctors gave me a 10% chance of survival with a high likelyhood of severe brain damage. Yet, after a month in the hospital, I made a miraculous full recovery.
That moment changed everything.

Built with Purpose
Shane and I committed to getting healthy. We found strength in a local gym and community, and I eventually took a job there. I quickly fell in love — not just with the workouts, but with helping people on their journey.
That’s when my husband had a brilliant idea: create something of our own. We envisioned a gym filled with fun, community, and inclusivity, where members would genuinely look forward to working out and cheering each other on. We also wanted a place where recovery wasn’t a luxury — but a part of the process.
And that's how Kut Fitness was born. We've poured our hearts into making this dream a reality, and we truly hope you'll feel that love and share your health goals with us. We are excited to welcome you!
